RMTC Short Form (Yang 28)
Yang 28 was developed by Jenny Harrison in 2021. It is a symmetrical Form with 28 postures, divided into 2 parts.
Part 1 can be taught as a stand-alone Form, and postures can be taught as Qigong exercises, with footwork taught separately. Part 1 can be taught in sections, with the first 3 postures taught, then adding on Single Whip, and finally Jade Ladies.
Yang 28, Part 1 has many different layers making it suitable for beginner students as well as the more experienced tai chi practitioner. Part 2 is more suitable for the experienced student.
Tai Chi instructors who would like to teach this form must attend an 8hr workshop and submit a 15 minute teaching video. Please email info@risingmoontaichi.net for more information.
