Term 2 2025

Tuesday April 22 - Friday July 4

Term 2 is an 11-week term, so it will be split in two:

First half: Tuesday April 22 - Friday May 23 (5 weeks)

Mid Term Break: Monday May 26 - Friday May 30 (with holiday program - Silk Reeling and Tracing Hands)

Second half: Monday June 2 - Friday July 4 (5 weeks)

A full Term Pass (10 weeks) is $240, enabling you to attend up to 4 classes a week. It expires at the end of the term, which is Friday July 4. This Pass gives you full access to videos in the Content Library.

Half Term Pass (for the first 5 weeks) is $130. Please note, this is for the first half of the Term.

A 10-Session Pass is $205 and has a 6-month expiry. This Pass gives you full access to videos in the Content Libary.

Single classes are $25.

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day

The first Saturday of Term 2, April 26th, marks the 26th anniversary of World Tai Chi and Qigong Day—a global event celebrated in over 80 countries. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience first-hand why so many have fallen in love with Tai Chi and Qigong. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. U3A students, community groups, and other schools are warmly invited to join us. Be part of this worldwide celebration at The Studio in Mornington, starting at 10:00 AM. Bookings are essential.

New online course for beginners

If you would like to start learning Tai Chi during the holidays, or if you would like to have a structured program to help with home practice, we have a series of curated videos that are ideal for the Beginner student. Content of the program includes warm ups, teaching the 18 movements of Shibashi Set 1, common Tai Chi postures, footwork and stances. Also included is The Lotus Qigong and principles of movement. Click here to purchase the Pass, which is $25 and valid for 2 months.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Term Payments: If payment has been made for the Term, and you find you have other commitments, please give at least 1 week’s notice before the start of the Term for a full refund. If less than a week’s notice is given, or if you do not attend, no refund can be issued. Term Passes can be transferred to a friend or family member.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for 10 Sessions: Refunds can be issued if none of the 10 sessions has been used. No refunds can be issued once you have attended a class, but unused classes can be transferred to a friend or family member.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Short Courses, Workshops, and Holiday Programmes: If you cannot attend a workshop, short course, or holiday programme, please give 7 days’ notice (before the first day of a short course) and a full refund will be issued. If less than 7 days’ notice is given, 75% of the cost of the event will be refunded. No refunds can be issued if less than 48 hours is given, or for non-attendance. However, you are welcome to offer your place to a friend or family member.

Refund Policy for Instructor Illness: If classes are cancelled because the instructor is unwell, those students who have a Term Pass will be offered a refund for those classes.
